Christmas Movies for the Family

Throughout December, our family love sitting down of an evening and watching a movie together. We try and choose Christmas themed movies for this time of year. Four movies in particular are a part of our annual tradition with others thrown in as well. The four are ‘Christmas with the Kranks’ that we watch early in December which motivates us to put up our Christmas tree. We then watch ‘Elf’ on Christmas Eve and ‘Home Alone’ followed by ‘Home Alone 2’ sometime on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Plus this year, ‘The Grinch’ is a much anticipated movie the family wishes to see.

I have compiled a list of movies which are great to see as a family (depending on the children’s ages). Movies can communicate a truth in an amazing heart felt way that can open up discussion on various topics. Movies can also be watched for pure enjoyment.
