Monthly Prayer Guide

I am on a journey of deepening how I pray for my children. One of my roles as their parent is to consistently uphold them in prayer before the Lord. If I am honest, I realise that this sometimes needs to be more of a priority in my life. Thus, in my journey, I am looking at different ways to help me in this. Therefore, for October, I have compiled a monthly guide to assist me in this month & I thought I would share it with you. I am planning on speaking the Bible verses over both children each day as I decree & declare the prayer.

The beautiful copy in table format (on MS Word) with the picture in the background somehow wouldn’t upload to my website, so I have listed the prayer and relevant Bible verses I will pray and decree over them each day. (This copy here still wouldn’t format properly like the original one I have to email.) If you would like a copy of the beautifully presented one to enable you to also pray purposefully this next month for your children, please email me at [email protected] & I will send an attachment through to you.

In my journey, I am discovering that our words that we declare are so powerful. I declare and decree most of my prayers now instead of starting “I pray for..”. What we say and declare with our mouth is powerful. God spoke the world into being through declaring. What an example for us to follow.

Thanks Kaidee. I initially compiled it so as to help me broaden my prayers for my kids but then realised that others might benefit from it too. Thanks for your encouragement. Jane
