This month’s Prayer Guide is compiled from looking at God’s promises from Scripture. I love reading the Bible and finding God’s promises to us. I have found promises from God for each day of May and written a short prayer/declaration along with the Biblical reference. I encourage you to read the Bible verse, grab the promise and pray and declare it over each family member. The words we say are so powerful, including the words we pray.

The Bible stresses the importance of our words. Isaiah 55:10-11 “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

As we pray big and bold declarations and Biblical truths over our children and ourselves, we are speaking life and expecting those words to come to fruition.
